To summarize, you could try first Scratch-B-Gone. You can call SZ customer service for a recommendation for a local stainless steel refinisher. That page is a bit murky on whether just the stainless steel front can be replaced or whether the entire door needs to be replaced (I think it's the entire door that would need to be replaced). It might depend on the model. Again, call SZ customer service.

It's not difficult to refinish stainless steel, even for a DIYer. I'd start with some fresh 120 grit paper and go with the grain. It will look worse at first, but don't panic please. Use successively finer grits in a successively larger area until you get to a red or gray Scotchbrite pad and a finish match. It may not be perfect, by it will be much better. Lucky you, it isn't at eye level.
