Drapes help in Master with asymmetrical windows.

I have a wall in my master with a slider door and small windows on either side. The wall space on the left of the window is 32 in and the wall space is only 19 inches on the right. I’d like to get a French return rod with blackout drapes to cover the slider and the windows. Should I make the rod an equal distance from the edge of each window? So- 19 inches on each side? This would leave 13 inches of wall space on the left. (Verses doing a whole wall of drapes- but it will look asymmetric when opened). I’ve been so unsure- but leaning towards 19 inches on either side with a little wall showing on the left. I’m looking at blackout lined velvet and am hoping the stackback won’t be too bad if I install metal tie backs to open up the windows a little. The windows and slider together measure 125.5 inches.
