We bought a ZLINE 36 inch dual fuel range for our house and we very quickly discovered some major design flaws.

1. When the oven is on, the front of it and the knobs get dangerously hot to the touch. Need to use a towel to works the knobs. VERY BAD.

2. If the oven is on then the fan is on also. No way to turn it off, which not only makes it very loud but also makes the kitchen (and whole first floor of our open-concept house, really) unbearably hot. NOT GOOD.

Now, after many frustrating emails and phone calls, ZLINE supposedly is sending someone out in the next couple of weeks to fix it, but judging by other reviews I read on here, I really do not think it can be fixed. That's just how the range was designed. So we are looking for a new range. Does anyone have one that they absolutely LOVE, that doesn't have the aforementioned issues? Please give me some recommendations! I cook every single day and need a new unit - pronto!

I chose the ZLINE because it looked dreamy, but it turned out to be a total nightmare!
