Alphabet posts 2023

I am planning on starting alphabet posts on January 2. This time I am trying a twist to it with your top five performers in each letter. So……..we will see the best daylilies in your garden with maybe a note why you chose to include it. The last post will be for any seedlings you have created that you are thrilled with.

Any comments or ideas you have about this will be greatly appreciated.

I'm so glad you are going to host the alphabet posts again! Good luck with asking for the best with a limited number. I got a lot of push-back on that the first year I did the color posts. I do like that idea since it makes them more recommendations and requires some analysis. Of course I would like the idea of adding a seedling thread to the event.

I always look forward to both of our informative daylily lists - the colors by Debra and the Alphabet by you Sherry. The alphabet has been the most dangerous for me. It's the one that usually causes me to order more daylilies than I have room for. This year I'm firmly resolved not to be tempted (yeh, right, sure)...........I'm glad to hear you are feeling up to the task Sherry and as always thanks for doing it..........Maryl

The last post will be for your favorite seedlings. The limit is to keep those big letters ( like S) within some bounds. Also you are right Debra, it helps us make intelligent decisions about possible additions to our gardens.

I'll be peeking in from time to time but not able to participate. I find these posts helpful in seeing what I want to add in 2023. Hope your making progress on recovery and you can get rid of the vest.
