I think a modern large farm house table would look great in the dining area.

BTW.. beautiful remodel! Love the choices you've made. I'd reconsider the sectional idea tho. Usually quite big and sucks a lot of spacious feeling in the room. How about sofa and interesting accent chairs instead?

I'm assuming you want table and chairs to go in space between bar stools and desk/cabinet area? Not sure of your dimensions, so I'm going to guess that you have about 10' to work with. This means your table should be narrow enough to allow for 3' around perimeter. With the bar stools also sharing the space, a little more room on that side would be even better. (People never push their chairs and stools back into place!). So in following pics, we have a narrow table, 3' wide, and 5' long, which means you could only comfortably seat 4. Would this be adequate for your family? Pics 2 and 3 are chair options - French bistro style or a little modern. Your table and chairs should be visually light in this space.

In your FR, is that a TV above the FP? In which case your sofa/sectional would orient that way. Otherwise, I suggest your TV go on adjacent wall and orient that way. This area doesn't look huge, so you might want to consider a sofa with chaise instead. Either way, I highly recommend slipcovered for a modern yet cozy look/feel, and if you can tolerate the idea of white, go for it! Otherwise, a light honey co,or would look pretty in your space. I recommend Pottery Barn sofas, since I have them myself. But Crate and Barrel has them, and at a lower price point you can get them at Lazy Boy. Btw, your space is just beautiful - you did a great job! I'm thinking you should choose your style that you are after to help guide you in picking the light/chandelier. Modern Rustic? French Country? Looking at the pendants you have chosen for island, my first thought is a burlap wrapped drum shade. The table and chairs are all world market.com.

Get a long back table with red print chairs. Slip cover type. Have some white in fabric. In living room float a big leather or fabric sold color I like dark gray. A sectional with a chaise on ends. Are u putting TV on firepl? Add a big ottoman in zebra 36" square. Big 6x7 ft oil art on wall have red, black, gray contemporary look area rug silver shad 8 x10 don't put under sect. Pick up orange and red accents on fireplace. Just a little red is bold. Same

Light over dining rustic industrial to change it up a bit. Restoration hardware is good pl to look. Get something unusual. In family rm a arc light in brush nickel on wall would add interest.

I like the industrial chair above on end. Restoration may have them or look on line. That would work if you don't want fabric.

Your kitchen is a mix of traditional (cabinets) and modern (chairs, tiles and fixtures) so I went with furniture that has a mix of both also. A traditional table in black gives it a more modern feel.

White upholstered end chairs and more modern white chairs for the rest.

Some roman shades with either a print that ties in all the colours or a red print with a bit of grey like the tiles. You could have some removable cushions made for the chairs in a fabric that compliments the shades. This type of fixture - once again traditional with a modern twist.
