You'd probably need to post a wider view of the plan to see opportunities. But that's trying to fit a lot - it all would, but probably would not feel like the rest of house (picture a school bus with 30 kids all piled up in the last seat, the rest of bus is empty). Since you have the stair into garage, it might be possible to cantilever the floor into the garage to gain some room.

Thanks for your advice Patricia Colwell Consulting. The dog shower is more likely for washing feet when needed. As house is not yet built, we can move plumbing as needed. you gave some good ideas, thank you.

Could you do with just one door? You have a lot of wall space committed to doorways. Also, a pocket door would be a more efficient use of space.

A "slop sink" in the garage, dirty shoe removal in the garage, and a picture of the entire floor plan.......necessary for any reasonably good advice.

It's going to be difficult to get all those funcitions into your mudroom. You may have to steel space from somewhere else in your plan (probably the garage). One suggestion is to incorporate shoe storage into your coat closet. You can have a shoe rack in the lower portion of the closet and coat storage in the upper portion. Good luck!
