2 Continents with 2 different counters is 10x too much. It isn’t just the island size that needs rethinking. Double islands, double counters, the whole bit.

Please don't judge my island size or count or look lol. I don't need that kind of feedback, and I meant to say it kindly. It is guaranteed to be functional and we love the design and know it'll look okay. One of the islands is actually smaller but I want the large one NOT to have seams hence the super jumbo quartz. There are not a lot of options, but daltile has the colors that I might like (I have yet to see the slabs in person). So I'm asking question about the quality of the quartz, if you have it. Staining, scratching, melting and other issues that you can think of. We will mitter the edges so I'm not concerned about the pattern not being completely through the entire thickness of the body. Thank you!

to date I have done a lot of reading and rarely see issues with quartz other than caesarstone. Doesn’t seem to be coincidence, but also worth considering what @Joseph Corlett, LLC indicates. Personally I had been set on Caesarstone, but over the last couple months became more concerned there is an issue with at least some of their products (and of course those are the ones I prefer). Also a local fabricator told me that basically all quartz is the same, but when he does get a few random complaints they seem to be about casearstone products. he clearly warns about fingerprints etc showing on dark quartz. It is simply the nature of the beast and not product line specific.

Keep some Tenax Quartz Toner on your honed engineered stone and you won't have fingerprint problems.

I am a fabricator. Datike is a good brand; we sell it regularly and have no problems.

What are your opinions on ikea quartz. isi it s the same as other brands or is it a problem.

We have Daltile Alpine White in two of our bathrooms and just love the quality and how they turned out. Now considering using them again for our kitchen countertop remodel. Does anyone have either Carrara Veil and Rocky Mountain Daltile countertops? Trying to get a better idea of what they will look like next to white cabinets.
