unable to match stairs retread to flooring

We put in Cortec Norwegian Maple LVP in for our floor anout 5 years ago. Now I would like to pull the old carpet from the stairs and retread it (the riser would be white) . The problem is between LL Products, Floor and Decor, and Lowes, there's just not a good match to the existing flooring. I can go either lighter or darker, or carpet it. Trying to stain unfinished wood isn't an ideal option due to labor costs. We did redo the upstairs carpet and it is darkish from a distance, moderate hues closer (Stainmaster Reverie Palm Desert), a mixture of browns of differing shades (I have plenty left over so material cost would be 0). The plan is also to replace old black iron railing with wood hand rails (white posts)

Suggestions as to whether I should go darker for contrast with the flooring. I really want flooring instead of carpet but you tell me what you think.

I need to see the space so post some pics here in a comment showing the stairs and the room at the bottom of the stairs .Do not start another post just add to this one in comments .

The stairs is immediately to the right of the entrance which opens up immediately to the dining room on the left. The flooring isn't quite as dark as the image (did the best I could to get it close) but it is a little more orangey than the coretec website image. The walls are painted SW grecian ivory. Another consideration is that we are most likely selling 3 to 5 years and homes in our neighborhood do tend to be purchased by young couplems starting out or with little kids. Thx

The most economical choice would be carpeting, seeing that you will be selling in a few years. The new owners may want to re-do the whole flooring after removing the carpet years down the line.

I agree the carpet is probably the best choice since I bet there is only plywood under that carpet now and replacing treads is expensive I also like the iron spindles too.

So y'all recommend carpeting and I guess I would repaint the iron.
