2023 pepper list

These are all sweet peppers. We will buy a jalapeno and maybe a cayanne. I don't do hot, and my hot pepper seeds have not done well for me.

Like tomatoes I don't have room for all of these either. Sigh.

oh, I forgot I bought Czech Black seeds because there is Czech blood in me. It is hot, like jalapeno, if it is like the other one i had.

Amy, that is quite a list. I have a lot of space, and I cant plant that many peppers.

I'm getting rid of all my old seeds so I'll be starting a lot more than I plan to grow. Some of these seeds are from 2015 so I expect poor germination. Which means they'll all sprout, right?

Jen, by getting rid of them, do you mean planting them all?

And of course they'll all sprout! Then you'll have fun figuring out what to do with them all.

My list is very simple. I love peppers, so it's hard to keep it simple, but that is the plan and I'm sticking to it.

Peppers, like kale, are mostly just for fun. This year's are:

Sweet: Ros de Mallorca, Sweet Pickle Pepper (ornamental, to boot! I grew it last year and loved it), Super Shepherd, Sweet Apple Kambe.

Hot: Sugar Rush Peach, Jalapeno, 7 pot Brain Strain (gotta try, with a name like that), and Numex Twilight.
