Not the bottom version at all.

Seems that bathroom will be a bit tight with only 3' in front of the vanity. I wouldn't go less than 42" so it doesn't feel so closed in.

On the top one, make the door to the bathroom at the bottom of the bathroom and the door to the closet right as you walk into the bathroom

You do realize that with the closet at 6'6" you don't have enough room for hanging clothes on both walls but you can put narrow shelves opposite the hanging clothes?

Additionally it's always good to have windows on 2 walls in a bedroom.

No entrance from the bathroom to the clothes closet, no barn door, and more windows.

Mark's version is so much better and gives you the ability to have hanging clothes on 2 walls.

I just measured my closet because I was curious about the comment that 6’6” wouldn't allow hanging rods on both sides. Does that mean to also allow space to get dressed in the closet? My closet is 6’6” (from baseboard to baseboard) and I have hanging rods on both sides, and plenty of room to walk in and turn around (with hitting any of the hangers). Mark’s plan, which is really great, is better at 7’ but floor space of 6’6” does work in the real world. I do have room to get dressed in there, but I don’t do that.

I mention this because the OP should be able to make 6’6” with double rods work if that’s all the space she has. Hopefully, she can use Mark’s plan and get a wonderful bedroom, bath, and closet.

The floorplan I have is similar to what Mark has drawn although mine is slightly bigger. I wouldn't want to have to walk through the bathroom to get to the closet. There is enough room between the two doors on the bedroom side to put a dresser, or if you want to have a TV in the room, that goes there and then it is across from the bed.

Either your first sketch, or Marks. I like the separate closet in Marks, but in your first sketch I like the potential privacy of the toilet -- I'd hang at least a curtain in it's "doorway" so a person could walk through to the closet without the other occupant being on full view.

Mark's layout is very practical. I would narrow the bathroom window to leave room for storage between bedroom wall and bathroom window.

Marks version is great but you'll miss out on the awesome toilet view from the bedroom

Sorry but IMO you need a min of 36" to even walk netween the hanging rods full of clothes so IMO 7 ' barely allows that . I never want a closet access through a bathroom so i lke Marks layout to address that and in fact Ilke his whole layout. And Jeffery LOL

Mark is right. Barn doors and bathrooms do not go together. I would not buy a house where I had to walk thru the bathroom to get to a closet either.
