I really like the idea of gray and can tell you that there are so many options for the trim. Did you come up with a color combo you love or are you still deciding what would look best?

Nice home great ideas,i would leave garage door white r shade of off white to tone it down.stone on coulmns whatever color you use on garage use on door ,or go with a wood door.(if ypur wanting to change it)

Hi! Thank you all very much for your suggestions. I did choose colors and the painting was completed in October. Kept the wall color as is -- it was in very good condition. The trim was painted a sandy tan and the front doors were painted a deep sage green, with the tan trim. The large beams in the porch entry were painted the deep green also.
The garage door was painted the creamy yellow color of the house, with window trim painted sandy tan. That turned out very well --really integrated the garage with the house and added some detail. Overall, the house looks much better.
Another step was painting the downspouts the color of the walls. They were previously white. They now blend in and are very inconspicuous (more so in person than in photographs), giving the house a more unified look. Those vertical lines broke up the strong horizontal line of the house.
The columns were painted green but that didn't look right, so they were re-painted the creamy yellow and now look nice and fresh. Stone on the columns would look great! I'll save that idea for later. I'll add some photos later tonight.
