Medium brown and Provincial are popular choices for white oak. Medium brown has no red in it, wheras Provicial does.

Isn’t the point of choosing white oak (and paying the premium cost for it) its whiteness? I would do like the previous comments mentioned - no stain with a clear coat.

We recently used Rustic Beige on White Oak for this new construction:

I used Bona Drifast Natural Stain, Bona Drifast Sealer, and Bona Mega Satin Finish and the refinished white oak floor came out great, lighter and warmer than brown. (Could have been lighter by omitting the stain or less shiny with Matt finish.)
