I've got a question or correction. My last post here I named a hosta " Fortunei Aureomarginata ". After seeing others and checking HL, I'm thinking it is actually ventricosa Aureomarginata.

What y'all think?

old_dirt what a lovely Francee. Mine has been suffering for years under a maple. Wow your FFPS is wonderful. The height of the scapes & color of the buds would indicate v. A. It is beautiful.

Ann FI is like a beacon in spring. Firn Line tends to do that. The white edged could be FA but there are some quite similar.

This is how First Blush comes up.

I don't get much "blush" but I think it is my fault. Bob Solberg says it NEEDS sun to bring out the "blush." I don't have much sun available.

Sometimes I see something "special" in a hosta and I try to take a few pictures with my better camera. Unfortunately just don't have the time to do more of that. But I love it when it turns out.

My first Foxfire Palm Sunday decided to sport into Foxfire Good Friday. I guess Palm Sunday comes before Good Friday so now I'm waiting for Foxfire Resurrection Day. I know Foxfire is out of business, but if FGF sported into something could someone else in good conscience name it Foxfire RD or would that be in bad taste?

Well, I guess FPS already sported into Foxfire Resurrection so I suppose not. Wow, I'd love to get that one. Anyone find it anywhere?
