Any cool color will go/flow better with your kitchen and hallway…don’t be afraid to make the change. It will be beautiful. Your woven roman shades and white trim will work well too…they’ll bring some warm and contrast to the blue. Best wishes!

You could paint everything below/including the chair rail the white color…I think that would look really nice too. Any chance of refinishing the hardwood in the dining room to something similar to the kitchen…a light or medium brown stain shade? A rug, updated dining table/chairs, and light fixture will also help in the transformation

I agree, I’m painting the lower half all white. The floors were just refinished and I might get more modern chairs, keep the table? What kind of light would look better over the table? A rug under the table would def bring it all together! Thanks for all your help!

Be sure to paint LARGE (at least 4 ft x 4 ft) panels that you can move around and view from different angles, at different times of day. That way its not so scary to take a plunge, cos you kinda have more of an idea what it will look like.

I think it will look great! agree i’d do some large test patches. i xhose a light color for my bedroom and i’m kind of bummed i didnt choose a darker color. we did f&b inchyra blue in our bathroom and i love it.

The floor is beautiful…on a second closer look, I think the yellow paint is highlighting the golden tones in the floor. A large rug and upholstered chairs would really make the room…and add some coziness to the space

I think it will look fantastic, once its done. The color it is now, really doesnt go well with the floor. The new colors should look great with the floor. Once the painting is all done, a nice sized area rug under the table would look really nice too.
