First, I'm not sure why you select such a modern fixture with a fairly traditional kitchen style.

You need to select a fixture that has a ceiling canopy.

Don't let the extra holes steer you toward a fixture you don't like. Buy a couple of ceiling blank covers for the unneeded holes and paint them to match the ceiling. Down the road when you're ready to paint the ceiling, remove the blanks, patch the holes, and paint.

I'd put two bluetooth speakers (e.g., Pyle PDICBT552RD 5.25'' Bluetooth Home Ceiling Speakers) in the 6-1/2" holes. Is the center hole above a cooktop (the photo doesn't make the relationship between the ceiling holes and the island clear)? If so, maybe a hanging light isn't the best choice.
