I would do 2 rods one for the doors and one for the DR then matching drapes for both or you could do drapes for the LR and matching fabric for roman shades for the DR since the stackback area on the right of the DR windows is not really big enough for drapes if you go drapes in the LR Get a fab chandelier hungat 30-35" above the table to really catch your eye.

These windows face west. but I don‘t mind the sun as we have some relly tall trees that help with shade, but dont help at all with privacy, so that is a concern especially at night. There is only one door (on the left) that opens. I prefer drapes of some sort to make the dining space less casual.

If only the left door opens, I would not recommend drapes on the doors. As you open and shut the door the drapes on that side will tend to pull towards the opening and you will be constantly pushing them out of the way. That will lead to their getting dirty from hand moisture. One suggest would be bottom up custom shades or blinds on each door. Lowe’s and Home Depot both carry good brands of custom coverings (I like Levolor) and have 25% to sometimes 50% sales about four times a year.

You would treat the window different than the door. Looks like on the left door opens so you could do 1 way, right draw drapery, you could do individual shades on the door and 2 side lights and the window you could do one shade on.
