Oh my goodness, where do I begin? Kimber is THE MOST INCREDIBLE, TALENTED, EXPERIENCED, KNOWLEDGEABLE, HONEST, PATIENT, UNDERSTANDING, DETAILED, CARING, HARDWORKING in-home designer I have ever met!! It is so rare to come across a designer who embodies even some of these traits, but Kimber embodies them all! She even has a great sense of humor, which made me feel instantly comfortable and happy having her in my home. What really stood out to me is how much Kimber cares about her clients. From the very first meeting we had, I felt I could trust her thoughts and recommendations. Not only does she know everything about fabrics, colors, styles to the utmost detail, she also has a very unique talent of being able to understand her clients and their tastes as well as their needs. She is the kind of designer who really takes the time to understand her clients and cater to their needs. She was incredibly helpful in helping me figure out the best options for each of our rooms/windows. And her help with fabrics was absolutely invaluable and unmatched. She understand colors, material, weights, etc. like no one else I've ever met. For my master bedroom wall to wall curtains, she could explain to me how each fabric would gather and/or hang given their thickness/material type. In our bathroom, she recommended a great top-down/bottom-up shade option to allow for light and privacy. In our master bedroom, she recommended wall to wall curtains for our bifold doors and a fabric roman shade for a side window. Although I am a very indecisive person when it comes to interior decorating and went back and forth on multiple fabric options for several months, Kimber remained extremely patient and supportive throughout the process. She came back to our house multiple times (even on super rainy and cold days!) until we decided on the final fabric selection, and she always remained positive and never pushy. I always looked forward to meeting her each time as she was always a joy to speak with and super insightful (and never pushy). And when I said she is hardworking, I really meant it. She answers the phone night and day, weekdays and weekends. Responds to texts and emails immediately. She really is an example of someone who makes her customers #1 priority. When it came to placing our order, Kimber pushed to get us the best pricing to keep it within our budget. After the purchase, she continued to stay in touch on the order progress - placement, shipping, arrival, installation, completion. I would absolutely recommend Kimber to anyone I know who is looking for window treatments for their entire home. I absolutely love how everything turned out, and there is no comparison to using Smith & Noble (Kimber in particular) vs. competitors or online window treatment companies. After getting inspired by Smith & Noble's brochure, I made an appointment for an in-home design consultation. Lucky for me, I was rewarded with the best! Kimber was more helpful than I can say. She was sensitive to my preferences, she answered all my questions and she came up with a fantastic solution while staying within my budget. True to her word, she kept in regular touch with me up to and including the day of installation. She gets my highest recommendation - anyone in the market for new shades to beautify your home should call her!

Kimber has been a pleasure to work with! We worked with Kimber a year ago for ideas / measurements, but then held off on ordering as we decided to do larger renovations in our home. Once our renovations were complete, we reached back out to Kimber who was extremely responsive and quick to pick up where we left off a year ago. Kimber brought her experience and creativity to finally get our window treatments right after living in our house for 15 years - what a difference! She really proved her value to me when things didn't go as planned. Several months after installation, one of the shades fell down. I contacted Kimber and she responded immediately with next steps to get the problem solved. I had an appointment within a week of contacting Kimber and an installer quickly got our shade back in place. All along the way Kimber followed up to make sure that we were being taken care of.
