What is your style? Do you have any inspiration pictures? What you're showing is a completely empty space that can go any number of directions. If the rest is furnished, show us the adjacent spaces. A view of the kitchen would also be helpful. One room doesn't exist in a vacuum.

That is the best picture I have of my kitchen. I tend to think I like transitional styles with clean square lines.

Is the dining room a separate room or right off the kitchen?

You didnt mention the table, do you have it already or getting new? that would be my first purchase and I would go round.

I would like to get a new table. The current table is old. The dining nook is to the left of the kitchen in the picture above.

You could get a oblong table measure the length you can go are you planning to change the drapes? Cuz they're missing and if you are go like 4 in from the ceiling and if not you could get solar shades that have little pin holes and get the color that's going to match the wall if you want the space there to look larger or a light color Shades can be used along with the drapes like you did

What kind of style do you currently have? Are you looking to add a rug or change the flooring? We think adding some of our dining room designs could help. Why not take a minute to look at the chandeliers, dining room tables, and rugs used in these designs below.
