What is the backsplash tile?

I'm remodeling my kitchen (traditional, classic, farmhouse style) and have cream cabinets with Cambria Praa Sands counters and I am trying to find a backsplash tile that is classic and timeless - not too modern that pulls out the green in the counter top.
