Can you suggest furniture layout?

The priorities for the room are to be able to read and enjoy the views, to watch tv, and to entertain a small group. The room is an addition which will be added this spring.

The only furniture that I have for the room is a 17” deep X 53” wide display case. I can’t visualize how to make the best use of the space. While we don’t entertain that often, I would like to have enough space to host 16 people. It doesn’t always have to seat 16 folks because I would use additional chairs found in the house and put in there for an event. When we thought about a dining table, we decided that since we seldom have a crowd for a sit down meal, we will just rent table/chairs as needed for the occasion.

One part of the dilemma is the ceiling will be different on the right vs. the left to blend with the current roofing. The dotted line shows the break in ceilings. The left is vaulted while the right is a flat ceiling at 9 feet. Although there is not a wall between the two sides, vaulted area will be 15’ x 15’ 6” and the right side will be 18’ x 11’.

A second issue is that the walls to the back and the wall on the left will be glass windows to capture the views. This means there are only two solid walls for furniture placement--wall to the main bedroom and the wall next to the living room. My husband does not want to put a TV on the glass window walls since the back of the TV will show from the outside.

Can someone suggest a furniture layout for this space?

Here is the room addition. The stairs will be on the left rather than the back.

Here is the side view.

Below is the floor plan showing the adjoining rooms..

Below is my beginning idea for furniture layout.
