That's a new one on me, too. Good call, Jay. It's a strange beast, indeed. And it's in Acanthaceae, too, something I wouldn't have assumed, even if I knew its name, lol.

Fig, I didn't know it's name until last night Lol. I knew it had to be a Lamiale, but it was surprising to find out it was in Acanthaceae. I was questioning if the stems and flowers were even parts of the same plant.

Interesting plant - and also interesting about the time lag. Do you think it may have to with the country of origin, not necessarily Houzz?

carol...I don't think any country of origin can delay the posting. It's definitely Houzz. This has happened to me now maybe for 6 posts I've started and as many in which I've made comments. Immediately after I post, I refresh the thread and my contribution is there. 60 seconds later, it's gone.
