I like the suggestion for ivory but I also think white might look good too. My neighbor has white , I think it’s stunning, modern looking & cooler on your feet.

We used a white limestone paver and I love it. When my pine tree drops needles and cones some of the cone pieces kind of stain the pavers, but as soon as the summer comes they bleach right out. same with any berry or other stains (like my coffee once) IDK how it works but I guess it's natural magic!

I also love that the limestone is not slippery when wet and doesn't get hot in my full sun high 90's temps. It does get cold in the winter though and I was not expecting that haha. I take slippers to the hot tub now.

Just call me pool! I have looked at every paver I could find. I just got a sample of Shellstone beige.
I love it but like everyone I’m worried about salt water pool stain etc.
are you still happy

I do still love it! I will say there is a corner under a tree that typically gets some stains in the winter/spring but come summer the sun bleache sthem right out. Except this summer I need to thin out the tree for more sun to peek through. Or I need to find a safe cleaner to use.

We have no trees. Lol

Salt water won't stain it. We have salt water and no damage from that. Pine cone thingies and bird poop leaves a spots but the sun removes them.

Did you install over concrete or crushed rock and sand

Porcelain pavers should not stain.

.just hose them ofg. They are cooler than real stone. We are using ICON Tile Pearl...a warm white with luscious mat finish....same kind of project....turquoise pool...very contemporary look.

Justcallmepool. I’m looking at limestone pavers and have a very light one picked out but I’m really worried about glare. Is this a problem for you? What area of the country are you in? We’re in Arizona so lots of full sun!

Georgia here! We did white/oyster. Full sun. So far so good.

Not too much glare, if any. I don't notice any but perhaps my husband or others do. I'm in Houston with full sun on the pool and pavers. I love they never get hot to walk on. Oddly they do get really cold in the winter so I keep some slippers handy for the hot tub.

Sherry Currie and justcallmepool. Thanks so much for the comments. I’m between a creamy white and a brighter white at this point. There’s so much that goes in to the decision. House color, vertical stone face on back pool wall, etc. I know we’ll find the right combination!

Too much heat on bare feet, and slippery when wet would be my biggest concerns.

Quick question. To the person that used Shellstone. Do you seal your Shellstone. We did one year and it looked awful the next year. This summer we didn’t and the sun seemed to bleach out all the stains.
