if you are using pots.. why cant you move the pots in and out of sun ... ??? .. have 4 pots.. 3 under the tree.and one in more sun..and once a week shuffle them around ... think outside your box.. rather than let cultural requirements dictate a certain plant choice ..

Land of the Giants has it. I'm not sure if they are still in business, though. From the photos in the hosta library, that golden center turns light green. It's pretty.

Ha! No, I'm not ordering from that place. I was searching for notes about sun requirements, and came across that site. With the crazy description they provided, I wouldn't buy from them even if they were within driving distance.

Shuffling the pots weekly is a novel idea. I'd be more likely to make a semi-permanent move if one were struggling, but if several have issues I'd give it a try.

I am no help, as my CH died no matter where I put it…..☹️
