did you moisten the media before repotting??

most of us would have suggested you NOT repot in the DEAD of winter ...

i dont see anything wrong in the pic provided .. is the media as dry as i think it looks ... if you didnt premoisten.. i might think you might call a redo.. take the plant out.. moisten the media.. repot it ... and then properly water it in ...

and in the mean time.. tie up the heavy droopy leaves.. until the root scan pump enough water until they can hold them selves up ...

The upturned leaves are probably indication the plant is trying to conserve moisture, which means the soil is likely to wet or too dry. If the soil is evenly wet, no dry spots, it's too wet, unless you have a supplemental light above the plant, in which case the light might be too close or too bright, as heat will also cause the leaves to curl upward.

Unless we're using a fresh medium that comes with as starter charge of fertilizer or we're working with a newly acquired plant, we should assume our container media is devoid of nutrition. The reason for that is, organic media components require large populations of soil organisms to break down soil particles into a form plants can absorb, but container culture is generally not conducive to stable populations of soil biota. Also, high activity of soil life speeds breakdown of a medium's structure, which is a critical part of maintaining roots in good health.

Regular applications of an appropriate fertilizer is an essential part of maximizing plant's opportunity to realize as much of their genetic potential as possible. Foliage-Pro 9-3-6 is an excellent choice as a 'go to' fertilizer for houseplants, and supplies a complete nutritional supplementation from a single container. It's all your plant will need insofar as nutrients are concerned.

Late spring, around the summer solstice (21 June) is the best time to repot your plant because it should be high in energy reserves, and, it's ability to create more energy will be at peak. This means the recovery should be much faster than plants repotted in winter. I suspect, however, that you potted up, different and not as effective at relieving the stress of root congestion as a full repot.

Calatheas are not the easiest houseplants in the North during the Winter. They are very moisture loving and do not thrive in dry interior air.
