Bedroom Sitting Area-OMG!!!

This morning I saw an ad for a company that does wall plastering, and was absolutely blown away by this photo of theirs. The sitting area of this bedroom is , IMO, fantastic! If we were building a new home, I would have that exact one built off our MBR. The fireplace. The shaded skylights. That gorgeous lounging sofa!! Anyhoo, I thought you might enjoy seeing it, too.

Ida . . . you especially came to mind!

Ohhhh, how lovely! That's such a cozy looking nook that would invite one to curl up and relax! I like the way the windows are incorporated.

I just Googled the plasterer and absolutely love his work! Wow!

@Jilly OMG - I love that chaise! I have been looking for one for my "front room" re-do and that is perfect. It's 3,000.00 + shipping in Canada... so will stay in the "dream a little dream" category for the time being but thanks for alerting me to it's existence. I can just hear DH - "for that kind of money you should get at least two arms!"

Jilly, I was wondering that, too! It’s gorgeous!

I‘ve been looking at the area in front of our smallish kiva fireplace in our MBR and wondering if I could pull something (anything!) like that off over there. Nope 😫!
