Take it slow and patient as you remove it. Make sure you get as close up to the stitching as you can. Make sure you stabilize the stitching- do this by holding it, pinching it, pressing it down with your finger on your work surface. Keep it steady and firm as you tear the stabilizer away from the stitching.

Shouldn't the stabelizer be on the back side of the fabric?

Your stitching looks rather loose for tear away stabilizer. I have only used that product with machine embroidery projects where the stitching was dense. I think it is going to be tricky to remove the stabilizer, but Beesneeds gave you good advice. I am unable to read the name you have written on the project, but maybe that's just me

Is it tear away, or melt away? Melt away will literally melt away once it gets wet. Recently, I've been using a wax type pencil that you iron on the fabric.
