The Old House Windows Exterior

Hard to find shutters

How can I match these shutters? They are traditional wood, louvered shutters. They have 52 slats each (26 above the center mullion and 26 below). The dimensions are 15.25" x 81".

I have been scouring hte internet and cannt find anywhere. Are there any sites where you can enter exect dimensions and number of slats? Or any wonderful dealers who can find the exact shutters for me? Or any recommendations for a company that will custom make them?

Do you know who made those? You have the missing ones from the side? Sadly...engineered obsolescence is gonna probably get you on these ones.

Nothing stamped on the back of them? Look hard. They can be pretty hidden.

My experience is that there are local woodshops that can do this stuff. If you look on the internet, look locally for a woodworker, not for a big shutter company.
