IMO a beveled mirror looks best when not taken to the ceiling I think to risk the hole drilling is not worth the lights being installed in the mirror maybe now just more pot lights make sure all LED 4000K and that should light the whole area

This photo shows a better front on view of one of the vanities. The reason I wanted to stick with one light is because I dont know how to use two and make them look right as they would not be centered over the sinks. But maybe that doesn‘t matter. I knew if I did not post some photos that I would get no help. But my bathrooms do not look like this now. There are new countertops, new cabinets, new shower, and new tub. Everything is going to look different but it is still in the reno phase and a huge mess. But I have to install the mirror and lighting now as I have a deadline for it all to be complete. I would say it is still not modern. There are no windows in any of the bathrooms. I am trying to make the bathrooms appear larger and brighter. I have been told that mirrors from the vanity to the ceiling would accomplish this and that this goes well with any decor. But I really know nothing about decor other than what I read and what people tell me. I just thought a very small thin bevel looks better than a straight edge but maybe not.

so you put in new vanities basically, but didnt move the sinks?

Yes. In hindsight I should have definitely pushed to have it done. This is a condo and the contractors only want to work with existing layout of everything. Have ran into several issues because of this. I have looked at many remodeled units and I have not seen any unit where they did move the sinks.

These photos are of a unit where they installed full mirros but they did not go quite all the way to the ceiling and they used no bevel. So maybe that does look best. They also installed the lights in the ceiling. I thought a long light in the mirrors would look great but maybe not. Maybe framed mirrors and a light above the mirror would look best decor wise. I just don’t know. But I

I would want recessed and vanity, more is better, options are good. I dont think this had much effect on making the room feel larger, especially with all that pattern. The mirror here looks dated to me, but thats just me. I would stick with a frame and a single light.

You want to avoid glare because the mirrors will double the amount. No bare bulbs please

Thank you all for your advice. I guess it sounds like the best option is to just leave it as it was with a framed mirror and a light above the mirror.
