Thanks all for so many great options. I love the one Alison posted from Innovation Lights. I think I need something with height. I also found this one - Adelaida Glass Semi Flush Mount, on Wayfair and wonder if it is the same as Innovation just under a different brand?

@Kendrah the one you posted is similar, but yours has the large section next to the globe and larger ceiling plate. Bad imitation, IMO.

I really dislike globe lights and IMO they all look like builders grade no matter how much you pay. They do not provide good lighting and there are so many awesome lights to choose from. Maybe tell me why this style at all ?

Maybe she likes it? Maybe it fits the style of her house? (It does.) Maybe they do provide the amount of lighting she needs? Maybe not everyone is into the Swedish ice hotel aesthetic or 2020’s MCM this board so loves?

I think innovations lighting option is great. what is nice about their fixtures too is that you can always just change the glass part down the road if your style, preference changes and the mounted piece can stay. I am purchasing some kitchen pendants from them; have seen their fixtures in local lighting store and they are really nice quality at a great mid range price point. I think the style you are considering are appropriate and will look great

As to why she may like them patriciacolwellconsulting…because people have individual taste and style, don’t want every room and area of their home having the same identical decor options on repeat and she doesn’t need 4,000k lighting in a vestibule/ hallway. IMO!
