I think it’s the faucet that’s competing with the mirror. I think it will look awesome if switched out to gold to compliment the mirror.

IMO after you change the faucet the mirror will be perfect. No need to purchase a different mirror.

I have that pedestal sink. I think the mirror, even with a faucet switch, is too heavy and overwhelming for that sink. Your plan for a lighter, perhaps maybe just beveled mirror would be a good one? The room has beautiful mouldings and a heavy mirror frame detracts from them.
