Empty Corner… what would you put here?

I have been struggling to figure out why to do with this corner. I am not sure what to hang there and place in the corner. Just feels like wasted space. Any help or suggestions are welcome!! Thank you!

You need a much larger end table and a lamp, also larger. That is all anyone will be able to advise without pictures of the ENTIRE room from several angles.

The table ? About 24 or 26 inches high and 24-28 inch diameter or square. The lamp you have, may be fine.......on a larger table.

As I said.......pics of the WHOLE space, please

I'm with Jan. Nobody can give you advice about the corner without seeing the entire room. Good design takes into account the entire space. Please photograph the room from all four corners.

    Are these more helpful?!

Too much furniture!- one too many sofas ! Lose the leather couch, buy one more accent chair ( not white ) a soft bluish gray to harmonize with the rug. Put the white sofa under the pictures, tuck a new chair and the new end table at the window end.

The windows could use curtain panels. That would soften the room and take up some space on that wall. Between that and the larger end table you don’t need anything else.

It's possible that once you get a new end table you will want a taller lamp, but get an end table first and see how the lamp looks. The one you have looks to be on the short side.

I would do a nice tall plant!

You could float the brown couch off the wall, so the end table fits ”properly” between two couches. then, you could could add sofa table behind it if you wanted

You might try removing the lamp and either get a tall plant or use that little side table to elevate one and put it in a light colored natural weave basket Then you might add a natural woven reeded sunburst mirror, or nothing.

You just need a larger table and lamp — preferably a round table. Add art on the wall.

I agree with Diana about curtains.

What color lamps and side tables would y’all do? I have taller blue ones in my bedroom that I just moved in here to see the height. Definitely agree with taller lamps!
I have been wanting to do curtains just can’t decide on brass or bronze for the rod color!

    Would this work?

    I might try rearranging!

I can’t get rid of the dining table. My husbands grandfather made it

I wouldn't put anything in the corner. Not every space needs to be filled. It's a good space to throw the pillows when someone wants to sit comfortably on the furniture.

You just need to add two new larger end tables I would do square…can you post the measurements of that corner please😊

    Pretty room!

that looks nice. maybe some lighter side tables that go better w/your sofa?

I stuck this olive tree in the corner

Do you like this overall look? it's similar to your sofa/pillows.

    nice pot for the tree.

The heavy wood coffee table could be changed out for something more natural, like these rattan tables.

Or go for a lighter wood color like this one. (similar photo gallery like yours.) I like the window treatments in either of these photos

    side table option?

horrible photoshop, but you get the gist

Thank you so much for everyone’s help!! I might keep the lamps I switched in there or but different ones. Love the idea of new end tables. I bought those from target and they were super cheap. More of a place holder until I found something I liked.
I think I’ll add a tree there too! Been wanting to do that for a while and then add some curtains. I’ll post the measurements when I am home later!

@Alexa Nurse Love your coffee table & would not change. The larger lamps look great & in balance with scale of seating furniture. If you get a new & larger table for the corner, maybe think about placing the existing small corner table between the two chairs. I agree with @chispa that the room does not have too much furniture and also with @Diana Bier Interiors, LLC about adding drapes. Your dining table looks pretty and is a treasure made with love I’m sure!

Everything is square or rectangle-I would do a round coffee table to break it up a bit.

These coffee tables are hard to find now and you'll have to spend $2,000+ for one, so I wouldn't be so quick to dump it!

I would try rotating the rug and table to stretch the space out a bit, so it doesn't look like everything is crammed on that side of the room.

I like the blue and white lamps--they add a lot to the room.

As for the curtain rods, would you consider black iron? It adds a lot of punch to simple curtains.

I agree with most, I would lose a lot of those karate chopped pillows, put a nice sized table there and maybe don't do matching lamps. Maybe two larger lamps that are complementary but not matching. You could pick up on the gold tones (or is it bronze) in your dining area fixture (I think that fixture could be lowered). Otherwise, I think your room looks great.

I just purchased curtains and doing bronze/black curtain rods. I think it is going to make a big difference and will make the room feel more cozy. Adding to window near dining table and the two windows near sofa. Thank you for all the help!
Eventually I will buy a faux tree/ real tree (haven’t decided yet). Just need to save up for that

That table on the end of the couch looks very cluttered to me.

I think you could do better art over the sofa too it just seems like a lot of frames.

New end tables and lamps should fix you up.

Can I ask what color/brand of paint do you have on your walls in that photo?

I can check for you! I think it’s a restoration hardware paint color
