This photo reminds me of a most intimate moment in my career! Notice the memorial plaque we placed on the Olive Tree above this special seating area in the garden. I created this raised and shaded spot and placed his two Brown Jordan chairs there. From this wonderful garden vantage the owner and I sat face to face for more than a year (and later side by side to hear him better) as the garden evolved. From design through construction, each step was a loving intimate moment of creation as he slowly succumbed to cancer of the esophagus. Toward completion his communication became non-verbal but our love of the process allowed us to talk it through to the very end, his end.

Wow, that is very touching.

Thank You CPLandscapes,

Our entire Design/Build process for each and every project is deeply intimate as we are trusted with transforming our client's personal space. It is a great responsibility and privilege to interpret and communicate where this household will be in 5, 10 or more years and how their indoor-outdoor environment will affect their lives going forward.
