I would do a light green. Although dark, your kitchen bs coordinates well with thr floor.

I would consider changing out the rust wall color to a llighter color that will reflect light.

Go to the big box store and buy some tiles, bring them home and put them next to the countertops and cabinets with all the lights on. Stick with light colors. You’ll be painting too, but pick the backsplash first.
