Marble top dining table

I am trying to decide if I need to return this dining table. We have a busy granite countertop and I have the same hue of marble dining table but with less busy pattern. Should I just return it? I really need the advice. Thanks

return it
don't return it.

It’s a gorgeous table but because they are so close together they compete too much. I’d return it.
Unless you can use it in a different room… like a separate dining room… 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️🫣💗

Lovely table but I'd want something warmer. Everything is so, well, grey? I think you need something that is a little more different, even if it isn't warmer.

I think a contrast, like a wood table, would look better. We found a unique wood table that we love and doesn’t compete with our quartz.

Looks like the "missed" attempt at a match. Return it.

I see the baby carrier, can guess your age within reason : )

Please consider other colors and a bit more warmth in your space? The (over enduring) favoring of this gray white, black, and more gray white black? Is going to soon bite an entire age demographic in the fanny. Skip the rug too, which is too small, and every single one you attempt will have to withstand food tossed from a high chair. That's life, for now. Save rugs for your seating area. Something a toddler/baby can crawl on.

Thanks for all the comments, we just moved in to a new house and this furniture buying is so exhausting! Hahaha, we just put in the rug for safety purposes. Hahaha

    The chairs look really nice.

I think a wood, like walnut , would look better, but if you need something more practical perhaps a ceramic topped table in a warmer color.

I suggest you get a good quality outdoor table. It will be less expensive but beautiful. When the kids spill stuff on it, you can take it outside, hose it down, let it dry and bring it back in. In 20 years when you are rich and famous, you can buy an expensive wood table and move yours to your new home's outdoor patio. A two-for!

What do you think of these ones? Thanks!

We like this one the best. I think the wood color would match everything in the house

I have the almost identical table , finished in a different color (“Bark”). We have six upholstered chairs with it.

A big wooden table that can stand abuse will be your friend and not an annoyance.

I find benches awkward and would prefer chairs. I also prefer no arms on the chairs. Mostly I don't like pinch points. I liked both wood tables. One is more contemporary looking while the other would fit a transitional style or contemporary.
