Issue with Oak Table Redo

I have decided to redo an old orange looking 80's Oak kitchen table. I have stripped it and now sanding it but have an issue. There are tiny little spots that disappear when I sand but come right back. What is is and how do I stop them from returning? This is all new to me.

You didn't sand them into the wood, they are natural imperfections. Just embrace them and keep going.

As @PRN wrote, the black flecks are just part of wood. Perhaps you didn't notice them before because it was a darker stain and you never looked closely.

Thank you for everyones reponse . Since it was cleaned before starting and in between each step I am believing that it is imperfection as the other comments were saying. I just wanted to make sure before proceeding on to stain. Thank you all for your time. Have a good day to all!
