Hosta Mini or Smalls 2022 ...............

Your killing me Smalls. For me in Florida the minis and smalls are for me. Right now my hosta pots are outside but will be in a shade greenhouse when it really gets hot. Not sure when that will be it was 80 yesterday. I will be cramped for room so I will need to see what I will need to order this year. Show me your minis and smalls.

Have a great day everyone! I am off to spuddle.

Paula - I'm with ya on that spuddle (ing). Been doing that for almost 10 years since I retired.

I've got several smalls that shouldn't be. I'm still doing the brain work on a bed or area dedicated to minis (another spuddle project).

peren my sun mouse is around 4 years old.  I had it in a pot and thought I would try it in the ground to see if it does better.

Beth , peren and old_dirt, I have some of the same as you three do. Let me comment on ones I don’t have…..
Beth, Bitsy Gold is a cute one. Looks especially good in a pot. I love the trio of minis in a pot as well.

Peren, well….you just have soooo many! Some new ones I have purchased are ones I’ve seen in your garden. Sometimes I buy multiples and plant them together as well to make a bigger plant quicker…..lol
I really like Cracker Crumbs, Crumb Cake and your row of 4 minis is cute. I love Teaspoon and Ladybug!

old_dirt, your Mini Skirt looks great in that planter! I have seen Surfer Girl before, but in your garden it has a lovely light green shade. Also love Pocket Full of Sunshine….. I had one, but I believe it developed nematodes so I tossed it. I may have to give it another try!

Debra you do have a lot! Your Pandora's Box is doing really well. So many nice ones but GL Peeps is my favorite. I really like good corrugation. Hush Puppy is a cutie and Zuzu's Petals is quite lovely. I say always room for mini's and you have some nice ones coming!

Laurie..you’re right!..here’s the pic I posted under the T’s..years ago I bought Tiny Tears and Venusta the same day..each in a 4 inch pot..planted them side by side..Venusta has outperformed TT..I moved TT and a piece of Venusta to the front..my plan was a collection of minis growing together..I wasn’t sure if what I moved is Tiny Tears and Venusta or just Venusta..so I passed on posting again..

see 2 Blue Mouse Ears to the right of Venusta and Tiny Tears?..screenshot from the hosta library of Tiny Tears..if mine would grow maybe I could tell..

thanks for asking..DH is doing very well..I worked outside today for 3 hours..🙂
