First painted or wood ? IMO wood cabinets are not the be all end end all of cabinet construction Ther eis nothing wrong with non wood boxes and I much prefer MDF to wood for paint ed cabinets. I happen to love Ikea and the warranty and for sure the price . Crystal makes a very nice product. My son just had his bathroom redone with them and will start on their kitchen in a few weeks. Very good quality and they had zero issues.

Thanks guys! I think I will poke around a bit more. We will not have painted cabinets in the kitchen, stained is the look my husband wants. Bellmont seems like the brand that most focuses on the modern look I'm going for, but Harmoni and Crystal seem high quality and with larger networks and options.
