It is a lovely lamp, but definitely not the right size for where you have it.

Do you have room for a table between the chairs? If so, I would add one and then put a lamp that is more to scale on it.

Can you say more about what the rest of the lighting is in this room? Also, who will be doing what in these chairs? Are you looking for general illumination here or will anyone be reading?

That floor lamp takes away from the nice windows behind, and looks unbalanced.

Hopefully you can place the lamp in a corner in room, as it‘s akward there. A table/lamp will provide additional lighting and would create an attractive vignette. If you want something low, choose table/light accordingly.

I’d get the table first, as it will dictate style and size of lamp. I like the one below from what can be seen in your room and site offers the option to view in your room.

Add a small table between the chairs and put the floor lamp to the side of one of the chairs right or left side….I would avoid any lamp in front of the window.

I like a round end table between two lounge chairs with a lamp placed on top.
