Thanks, I was hoping it would be something I could manage- I live extremely rurally and currently my 13 mile dirt road is snowed in so getting someone out soon isn’t exactly an option, but it looks like the wood stove will have to suffice until then.

If you are snowed in on the backroads dianoising it isn't going to help until spring thaw when you can go for parts. It sounds like motor has gone bad,jerry rig another small motor or a high wattage light to the inducer wires to see if they work as they should. Better still use a volt meter to test voltage.

What is the model number of your Bryant furnace? Carrier/Bryant publishes troubleshooting guides to help isolate the problem. If you furnace is showing a fault code, this will also help narrow it down the problem.

I don't recommend poking around in your furnace unless you know how to read a circuit schematic, know how to use a voltmeter, and are comfortable putting you hands near a hot circuit.

Some inducer motors have start capacitors. If that's the problem, you're looking at about $300-$400 to replace it. The cap itself is about $30.
