Hard to comment on this without a flooplan. Do you have cabinets or an island opposite the range? What's the clearance in inches from the door handle to the opposite cabinets? You should have a minimum of 36" but ideally 40" to 42".

Currently have 48 inches between cabinets and prep area on island so I think we technically have the room with enough clearance.

One base next to the oven is 28" deep and the other is 26"? Were they both 26" at one point? I think it's ok for the oven to be 2" deeper than the adjacent base cabinets. I just checked my own, and the bases are 24" with a 26" oven, and it seems quite natural. The oven door handle is rounded at the edges so it doesn't feel like it will catch my sweater or bang my hip if I walk by it carelessly. See if yours is the same. I don't think you need to adjust your bases to 28". And you could mess up your corner to the right of the oven by changing from a 26" base to a 28" base. And it might look weird to have one base 28" and the other 26". Letting the oven stick out 2" will only highlight a kitchen feature you love.

Those inches are no big deal, and the features, oven size and all else more than compensate, for a non issue.

Your cabinets are fine.....adjust no depths, nor any counter top depths and do not wring hands.

Comparing the depth of that range with other slide-in models shows that a 28-1/4" depth -- without handles -- is pretty common.

Note that GE Appliances sells a similar Cafe CGY366P2TS1 ($5900) whose burners are somewhat less powerful than those of the Monogram ZGP366NTSS($7100). GE, Profile, Cafe, and Monogram are all GE Appliances brands.

@jan I see the Monogram in your beautiful projects! But then I also see a Wolf. I'm deciding between the two. I like the lighter grates and larger oven on the Monogram, but I'm worried about reliability. Do you have any thoughts about Monogram vs Wolf ranges? Thank you so much!
