I would actually consider seeing if the room could be re-designed/re-oriented with t.v. is on the left/photo gallery wall, the photos moved to the right of the fireplace, and the furniture re-configured.

I would change up the seating...

Put the TV on the wall not on the fireplace. and lower it down to eye level when seated.

I'd install a mantle over the fireplace.

low back swivel chairs in front of the window to create a conversation area.

I would consider a layout like Elle suggested. The height of the TV above the fireplace looks awkward.

This could be modified with your sectional as sofa 1, and two chairs instead of sofa 2.

For the large wall above the console, perhaps two large pieces. I’d think about something that personalizes the room, such as framed maps or photos from your area.

Hate to say this, but I really dislike the tv over the fireplace! It takes away the beauty of the fireplace area!! Is there any chance of moving it? The gallery wall would be perfect for the tv, and the gallery could go above the console. OR, if you like the seating as-is, could the tv be moved onto a rotating arm above the console? That way you would still have good viewing but the tv wouldn't look so awkward.

Thanks everyone! i like the idea of the series of framed prints and may go that route! I know the tv over the fireplace isnt ideal but that is where is was before we got here and unfortunately there is no other place that we feel would be good for it (I dont like the idea of using the back wall and putting the couch back to the fireplace), we will be getting a mantel and a mount that you can pull the TV downward to eye level but havent gotten there yet!
