Flooring Living Room Home Decorating

help with living room and new carpet

I recently had to update my carpet and I need help decorating! The carpet is more white then I was expecting but I am hoping to make it work. We need new furniture anyway so I am open to all ideas. The layout is tricky but I am also open to a different set up. I have attached the room from before and the room now with the new carpet. Help! Much appreciated.

Hi! Thanks for commenting! I am in the Midwest and I think the style of the home is traditional, although I gravitate towards minimalist transitional. The entire house is the same color of the room so it might me hard to change but it looks more yellow in pictures. I also like white but the kitchen is wood tones. I am loving white and green right now but I don’t have much of them in my home.
