Do you recall any issue(s) with the maintenance of these wood sidings? Do they have to be coated, oiled, etc. every so often? if yes, what do they do with the elevated panels? Could be asignificant cost even if you have to do it once or twice a year.

House was finished in 2012, no Maintainence needed thus far on the Mohagony siding, but I attribute it to the broad roof overhangs and the durability of treated Mohagony
If I could do it over, I would have made the overhangs another foot deeper for even more protection from the rain.
The front has deeper overhangs and the wood looks even better. It had lightened up a bit overall. It wasn’t so orange when it was new, it was more of a rich Mohagony color. But it just is a different version of pretty now.

could you please kindly name one or two wood siding manufacturers similar to this? I've contacted Newtech but their colors are super blunt, flat and not lively. Parklex has georgeous colors & the looks but it is pricey. Looking to find alternatives to these. thank you in advance & happy Memorial.

Zero maintenance on the mahogany siding. Nothing has been done to it since it was installed in 2012. There’s no finish or coating or varnish. Just clean, smooth, sanded mahogany. And it is held up remarkably well due to the Broad overhangs of the roof protecting it from the rain.
I would need to get back to you regarding finding a good mahogany siding manufacture. I cannot seem to locate the one that we used anymore.

With regards to the bronze coated, aluminum sheets, the roofer on this project has since retired.

Got it, thank you. For the wood panels, we are going with Trespa Pura. Have not installed them yet but not expecting any maintenance issues in the future. As for the metal panels, we have almost identical to what you have in this Englewood house; so yet to find a decent (and budget) metal guy (or roofer) to accommodate.

We're also evaluating wood cladding and alternatives for a south-facing wall. Considerations are aesthetics, periodic maintenance, pest resistance and durability with UV exposure. Can you share which materials you considered before deciding on Trespa Pura? Thank you!

We were between Parklex Prodema and Trespa Pura panels, both manufacturers from Europe. Ended up buying Trespa Pura. Both are expensive but Trespa had much better pricing and much better availability.
