We installed high quality LVP over slab (1/2” thick planks click-lock). Since then we noticed that every board pops up/down as you walk and physically moves. It’s extremely loud and almost as if its hollow under those spots. Contractor says this is typical and the nature of a floating floor to move between a 1/4-1/2” as you walk on it. We know he put self leveler down prior.

We really didn’t expect our new floor to sound like you're walking on broken glass everytime you walk on it. Everything Im reading sounds like this is a leveling problem. But since contractor is insisting its normal I dont know what to do.
