When I googled National Sewing Machine Company I got Wikipedia page that describes the history of the company. You may have already found that.

The most interesting part to me was that the founder was a man named Barnabas Eldredge and he also sold sewing machines under the Eldredge name. i have an Eldredge treadle that I bought for $5 at a farm auction in Pennsylvania in the late 1970’s. when we did a house remodel a few years ago we used the sewing machine base as the vanity with a sink on top in the half bath attached to my sewing room.

Thank you! I got it for $50 in the original cabinet with lots of accessories.  It runs and only needs is the bobbin winding tire. I originally bought it as a prop to take some Etsy pictures of fabric for my shop but now want to use it. Thanks for the reply.

I'm a old sewing machine fan and I haven't seen an electric vibrating shuttle machine before. It's gorgeous. I would suggest that you post your pictures on Victoriansweatshop.com and the old sewing machine forum on quiltingboard.com. Both have lots of members who are collectors. Someone is bound to have more info that you have now.
