I agree the bronze works better than blck unless yourare going for a more modern look in which case the shutters need to go . IMO for sure not green shutters . I aslo would look at painting the siding a bit closer in color to the brick. Is there a style of house you like ? Maybe share that with us. I dislike grids in windows so if getting new ones maybe think about not doing th grids this time . I just went to your idea books and see grids in most pics so I assume a pretty traditional look is what you like so maybe the bronze windows with grids. I would personally get the grids that are removable so you can have a choice

Bronze is a more flexible look and something you won't tire of.

You would be amazed out how much more light comes into the house without window grids.....and easier to clean. Something to consider.

It is really a personal choice what you like. Here are 2 very different looks on a way to go. Black or a much lighter tone or something in between. What appeals to you?

Thank you for all of the ideas! I think I need to stay somewhat on the traditional side with having a colonial style house. I like the idea of black windows instead of classic white. I will think about the grid/no grid idea?!

It has been mentioned, but paint the siding darker on the upper floor. And paint the shutters deep Charcoal. Sorry about my crude software but here is the concept. And is that a Teal front door or a shadow? I like it and added one below.

It’s a soft blue color. I wish we could change out our siding but not in the budget at the moment. Only windows for now and new storm door.

I don’t know if my husband would go for painting siding?!?

We have all siding on the whole right side of your house (not shown in pics obviously).

Go with bronze, cream, or white. Black will make the windows disappear.
