Quartzite staining very badly

Hi!

we installed quartzite last august in our kitchen. Its a leathered quartzite. i noticed it started stainly very badly and the installers came back out and basically said that it was natural. There is NO way something this badly stained can be natural. i am attaching photos of it at install vs now.

Is it quartz or quartzite? Quartz is manmade. Quartzite is natural. If quartzite there are plenty of posts on here about quartzite staining. Do a search. Ahhh I see someone changed the post to quartzite.

So now that we know it is quartzite not quartz was the counter sealed?

That particular quartzite has at least a few long posts here regarding staining, usually I've seen it on all the edges. Try to search for them, some people have had luck with a poultice.

Yes luckly998877 unfortunately I have tried poultice, does not work. Seeing if there was any other suggestions. And yes vinmarks, seems they came and sealed it.
