My family had two of these - one belonged to my grandmother who still used the ancient Singer machine that had a foot treadle but had been electried at some point.

In my experience the tables aren't worth much because there are so many around and people kept them and they are very sturdy so not much in terms of them breaking. They make nice tables for plants in a three season room or enclosed porch.

There are so many uses for these sewing machine tables. They’re sized right for entry consoles, kitchen eating area side tables, bedroom TV stands, hallway tables, the list is endless. They’re charming. Make it work for your home!

My handy BIL has cleaned up and updated Singer brand bases with a coat of black gloss paint and fitted granite (or it could be marble?) table tops which I think may even have been off cuts! Cost effective for a great pair of entry tables .

Maybe. Or whatever one is willing to pay as it probably varies by geographic area. Check the sale boards in your area - FB marketplace, Craigs List, Ebay etc.
