No, no cocktail table, UNLESS you give up the ottoman / "chaise" you are creating in the space.

Even then a cocktail ottoman on which you can rest your feet would make more sense.

You might want to edit that post (LOL!).

I think what's bothering us is that coffee tables are meant to be a place to set things (like your coffee!), and as currently placed, only someone perched on one of the ottomans could do that. If you want the feet-up option and the coffee table is only for decoration, maybe eliminate the coffee table altogether and use a tray on the ottomans if/when you need to set something there?

No one can reach the table when seated.

The existing table works better with your other selections.

Small moveable tables seem like a better solution for this room.

Yes, the wood and black metal base coffee table that you like can work. Although, imo, it’s not very exciting; but it all depends on how much excitement you really need from a coffee table. :) You can always put a tray on top in a color, or silver metal, etc., to liven it up. The thing about the black metal base is that it could get lost a bit in your dark rug - whereas, the gold/brass coffee table that you show in your post pic stands out and reflects light.

It really depends on what you prefer. It is your room. If you love the table, get it.

If you want another option- I could see an ottoman, in a color.

If you're deleting the chaise and ottoman used as a chaise, you'll have a straight couch. Any single or double coffee height table(s) can work. You could even look on FB Matketplace.

There are lots of nesting table versions, sizes, price ranges and content (wood, metal, etc). I found the example on Pinterest (can’t locate now sorry).
