Yes, I agree. Let's see it facing the window. I like it in front of the window too but you will get fabric fading unless you put some protection on the glass.

It's a large room and certainly can carry the blue color.

Do you have a 2d layout of the entire area with dimensions? I would put the sectional in the dark area as that is perfect for TV. Without the dimensions, not sure if this would work: I would have the couch facing the wall with the AC (behind the couch would be the peninsula) and fill that whole wall with shelves/TV. I would put the dining table/dining chairs in the L-area with the window/sliding door. Create a cozy conversational area where the piano is. Or you can have the couch face the other wall. The arrangement would be something like this:

This is what I'm thinking. You may have problems with the door hitting one of the chairs in the dining area. Also, I don't really know what will work in the piano area. If you have boxes around, use them as stand-ins for furniture you still don't have so you can visualize what different arrangements will look like in 3D.

The door is sliding so no problem. :) This is very similar layout to what I initially imagined, and what I have now, but still the corner with TV stand is very dark because of the lack of windows in the area (you can see in my first photos). Main problem is darkness and my lack of understanding what to do next with furniture, colors, details, etc... Its like a mental "dead end"

Your dark corner will not be dark once you’ve added your dining chandelier.

If you like that area to be brighter, lighting would be the solution. You need different layers of lighting - ceiling, floor, walls. I think I see a wire in the ceiling. Put a flush mount up there. You can also put sconces on the walls. You can put a slim sofa table/console behind the couch and put 2 lamps on each end of the table. If there is room, put floor lamps.

TV wall is either the wall facing the peninsula or the wall adjacent to the peninsula - the area that is dark. That is where the couch will be too. Put in lots of lighting!

It's a beautiful space but is very limiting because of the lack of wall space in the windowed area for a tv, plus the kind of awkward configuration of the sectional.
This is what I would do if it were mine. Two large area rugs, one where the sectional is, one where the dining area behind it will be. Tweak the placement of the sectional but facing the large window so you can move around it and do this with the tv:

It's not ideal, but think it would look better than most anything else in that space. Keep the sectional chaise far enough away from the wall where the door is so you can still use the door.
Or try it like you have it now, but pulled closer to the window/door wall and put the tv in front of that window.
The floors and the blue sectional will work great with the Scandinavian look you're after.

The obvious questions are…will you have enough privacy with all the windows?…and is the climate such that it will get too hot in the space from the sun?… and will you be needing complementary outdoor spaces? … for outdoor living?

Is there enough room for the sectional to be placed facing the smaller window? So the back would be facing the piano area with the large chaise portion parallel to the larger window. It would be nice to respect the beam in the ceiling in terms of separating the living and dining areas.
